Accessible tourism. Accessibility enables people with access requirements, including mobility, vision, hearing and cognitive dimensions of access to function independently, and with equity and dignity through the delivery of universally designed products, services and environments.I live in Whangarei, New Zealand. Whangarei City Centre is flat terrain -suited to a mobility scooter, wheelchair or other mobility devices.
On this site we will look at accessibility around Whangarei New Zealand’’

I will focus on the good points of being able to access the city and surrounding shops and public facilities. I live close to town, and my experience with accessibility around Whangarei city centre and areas close by has been a positive experience. Most of the city is accessible and the population is extremely helpful.
